Founded in 2020, Salmax Group is headquartered in Kolvereid, in one of Norway’s leading aquaculture regions; the Nærøysund municipality. Today, Salmax Group operates as a holding company, and all operational activities are carried out by its subsidiaries, Salmax Service and Salmax Research.

Our vision is to contribute to promote better fish welfare, improved fish health, and sustainable solutions for Norwegian salmon farming. We believe the future of aquaculture lies at the intersection between biology and technology.
